Why this company exists.
João da Terra Energy LLC was formed to develop renewable energy infrastructure in Florida. The company is in early-stage development. We do not yet own or operate land, solar generation, contracts, or equipment.
The core business is energy: strategic land, utility-scale solar generation, and grid interconnection. That is what we are building, and what we plan to sell.
Bitcoin mining and AI compute are the long-term customers for that energy — not businesses we plan to own. We do not plan to own or operate mining hardware, compute hardware, or data centers. Our role is upstream: developing the renewable power that those operators will need.
We are starting deliberately, with a 1.2 MW first solar project in Florida. Small enough to execute carefully. The thinking behind it is long-term.
