Data-Center Partnerships.
A long-term vision: working with established data-center operators as an energy host or co-development partner. We do not plan to own data centers.
Status: Long-term vision. João da Terra Energy does not own or operate data centers, and does not plan to. Data centers are described here as long-term partners and customers for the energy and land we are developing.
Why data centers need energy hosts
Data center economics are driven by the cost, reliability, and renewable profile of electricity. Co-locating with owned generation is a structural advantage operators are increasingly looking for.
Our role: land and energy, not operations
Our role in this phase would be to provide the land, the renewable generation, and the grid interconnection. Operating the data centers themselves is not part of our plan — that is the partner's expertise.
